HELLO HELLO EVERYONE. This week has been full of change and it's been so fun. I said goodbye to my district at the MTC and then headed off the San Diego. Me and sister wilkin traveled together and then said goodbye after we met our trainers. It was the first time in 4 weeks that we have left each other's side.
My new comp/trainer is amazing. Sister Matsushita is from Japan and graduated from byu with some math degree. She super sweet and so amazing. She has taught me so much already.
When walking to our apartment we met a guy name Wesley who goes to school here and he asked us if he can learn more. I was barely 3hour into San Diego and we already made a friend.
Me and sister Matsushita are whitewashing the area. That means neither of us have any information on the members or friends being taught. So we have been getting to know the members and our friends. We have one friend, Nina, who is getting baptized in july. I think it's funny cause I hear a lot that I'll be doing more sowing than reaping but it seems pretty even right now.
13 families in our ward are moving out because of military stuff so it's gonna be hard to make good member to friend relationships.
I've noticed that I've been more confident that I usually am and I was telling sister Matsushita that. She said that we have 2 kinds of confidence. Confidence in Christ and confidence in yourself/pride. Only one is a good kind. We all need to have confidence in Christ because through him we can do all things. What kind of confidence do you have?
One thing that I thought would change while I was on my mission was feeling the prompting of the Holy Spirit. I thought I would be able to hear him whisper to me bit that's not the case. I still have to strive to know what he telling me. HOW DO YOU FEEL THE HOLY SPIRIT IN YOUR LIFE AND HOW ARE YOU STREGTHING YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM?
Helaman 5:30 is a great verse to read about the Holy Ghost.
Love you all and have a blessed week!!!

Ps. My comp told me I was talking in my sleep last night and started planning our day, she said that I said that we needed to take a bold approach and knock on our friends door and not send her a text.
