ten years ago... this sweet baby boy came into our family.  little did we know, he would keep us laughing, loving, and bring the spirit into our home.  he is the baby and KNOWS it!  he is the icing on the cake and the most helpful kid ever.  he is inquisitive, he is smart, he is a teacher, he is patient, he is a snuggle bug, and he loves his momma!  we all love you samuel!

each summer scott and i are able to get away for a week while our amazing parents hang out with our kids.  this year the boys went to papa's and the girls are hanging out with grandma and grandpa.  scott swept me away to paradise...  with beautiful weather, realaxing breazes, and breathtaking views.

this is my view every morning.  just beautiful.  

our villa has a wall of garage doors that can be open and feel as if you are outside....  its lovely having the breeze blow through the main living area.

its not large at all... but who needs large when you are on an island.

My reading books

This book is historical fiction about a pioneer who loves trees...  Especially apple trees.  Johnny Appleseed has been woven into the plot and creates an intersting perspective of his life.  

The beginning was wordy and trying to get through... But eventually the characters become more interesting and the storyline takes the reader throughout the beginnings of California.   

I love historical fiction and learning about our country's history.  The book is okay.... But I'm glad I stuck through it and finished.

My Primitive survivor.

Ever watch a you tube video?  Daniel is hooked on Primative Survivor.  A man who builds houses, beds, fires, and much more without tools.  He only uses his hands and the material he finds in his woods.  

Daniel, well let's just say he is creating a modified version of survivor.   But using tools...  And creating a cool environment in our backyard.  

The first day working on his furnace...

Today...  Adding more with the help of Samuel.   Samuel actually boiled an egg for lunch:).  Took several tries...  But did it.  They have been working together for two days now.   Love how they help each other and are both happy:). 

Visitors...  Loving what they see.  

Perspective.   Daniels ready to start the house but knows it will take awhile.  He's not sure if he wants to start yet knowing the time he has to put into it.   So funny!!! 

My sister

Brought together through Facebook...  And I found my sister!!!!   I never knew that someone could be exactly like me in every way....  My thoughts, feelings, patience, frustrations, love of kids, friends, and family!   We spent a year together laughing and crying...  And crying while laughing!  

I will forever be grateful for an amazing girl that touched my heart unlike any other person in the world!   Love you Jennifer, always and forever!  

Little Rock may be 12 hours away...  But not too far to drive!

My boys...

Samuel, Caleb, and Coleman are the best buddies in the world...  And my nephews, so I get to clam them as my own!!  Ahhh. Just love hanging with them.  

Sweet girls...

Lauren and Claudia are the sweetest!!!   They have missed each other this summer.  They spend one afternoon a week hanging out together...  It's been hard to be apart!!!  

Week at soccer camp

Taits, Waits, and Browns head off to Charlitte Eagles soccer camp!!!   Even though it was in the 90's with heat index of 100's these kids LOVED it!!!!   Not one complaint...  

Each day was a theme and I captured Wacky Wednesday!  Woo Hoo for some amazing counsellors and great time!!!   We will see you again next year:).
