Happy 40th Birthday Scott

Happy birthday to you!!!   Another year down...   Many more happy ones to go!   

Scott went on an early morning ride.  What he didn't know was the kids and I were busy blowing up balloons, painting signs, and making a smoothie... Just for him:)

We headed to the temple that night... Just the two of us.  

On Friday we ran errands together, had lunch, then went shopping.  We came across this amazing, super cool table and we had to have it.  Not sure what we will do with it or where we will put it, but we will find a place.

So proud of how hard Daniel works toward earning his scouting badges.  He continues to love building things, engineering contraptions, and designing bindings and homes.  

While Daniel's working on scouting, the girls and I hang in activity days.  

Painting owls on canvas is what they chose to do.  

Can't wait to see the finished product.

Happy 40th Scott

Whoo hoo!!!!  I totally surprised Scott for his 40th birthday!  

1st- for me to even make a reservation somewhere is a surprise!!!!

2nd- going to the comedy zone is something I would be afraid to do!

3rd- seeing the ever so famous Jon Reep perform was the icing on the cake!

4th- coordinating his favorite friends to be all together was the cherry on top!

Such a fun and laugh filled night...  He was really surprised!   My first surprise anything for him!!!!

Run fast... Run!

Carmel cross country team had their first meet at Freedom Park in uptown Charlotte.  They ran a 3k which is about 1.8 miles. 

Daniel placed 7th and kaylea 54th. We were so proud of them and what they have accomplished over the past few weeks... Their hard work is paying off!  

Caleb Lindsey and Giovanni Cox also ran.  Geo sped across the finish line first with about a 10 second lead!!!   So proud of him!  Caleb finished about 15 people in front of Kaylea.  

The kids love cross country and their coach!   More meets coming soon:).
