Caroling

Yes, my kids love Christmas Caroling and dropping off goodies to our neighbors. Singing off key wasn't a problem this year because our friends joined in caroling with us. So much fun!

Great job Kaylea, Claudia, Allie, and Caroline. You are some great amazing runners!

Happy birthday my boy!

Happy Birthday Daniel.

We love you more now than We ever have before. You are an amazing young man, big brother, and son. You are a hard worker and love to learn. You are a great friend to all.

We love you to pieces.

Silly clowns

What are you doing now?

While the girls practice basketball.... Samuel finds easy entertainment.

Out for three weeks...

Playing hard and fast soccer... Sometimes injuries just happen. As long as he stays off it for three weeks, he should be able to play in his first basketball game December 8th.

The Bob picture was just for Samuel.

Child Labor

What would we do without our kids?

Notice the tongue...

FYI.... Scott operates likes that but no one ever knows!!!

Look at what I did PaPa

Samuel and Claudia were so excited about their dinosaurs they built... They wanted me to take pictures to show their Papa

HallOWeeN NighT

A pizza party before the kids take off with their friends.

This year Daniel and his buddies decided to be triplets.

Claudia was a "Deadhead."

Kaylea has wanted to be Pippi Longstocking for YeARS now and I finally got it together for her.

Samuel was Blackbeard!

Total cost... $10 for the blonde wig!

Our best year yet!

Trick or TrEaTiNG at Work

The kids met Scott's co-workers when they went door to door collecting candy.

Daddy Daughter Night

Boys are sick tonight with sore throats and fevers.... they crashed early after a dose of ibuprofen.

the girls decided to have their daddy all to themselves and Claudia came up with the idea of game night with daddy.

I'm not left out at all... A good book is just what the doctor ordered for me.

Our Happy Place

Wrightsville Beach, NC has always been one of our favorite places to be. Scott and I met here, lived here, and made lifelong friends here! This place has tons of wonderful memories for us both.

We love coming back and make any excuse to be here.

Getting in the way.

A wiggly wobbly tooth has been bugging daniel for quite some time now. It finally just got to him so he decided to just pull it out. He is not as daring as Samuel but with tons of coaxing from his little brother, he finally yanked out all by himself.

Samuel reminded him before going to bed to make sure to put it under his pillow... Daniel smiled at me and said "yup, I will make sure, Samuel. Thanks for reminding me!"

Best entertainment

We have two Samuels in our family...

My Samuel has named his cousin GiANt SaMUeL. Giant Samuel played for us all evening on the banjo. The kids ran around laughing while the banjo entertained!

Thanks Samuel... We want an encore!

Boredom

This is what my kids do to entertain themselves at the dr office. A few games of tic tac toe to take their minds off of getting their warts removed!

I always carry magic markers, crayons, and a sharpie. Ya never know when ya might need them!

Saturday morning craziness

I've got the whole school morning figured with how much time it will take to get everybody ready and out the door to catch the bus.

Well Saturday mornings are a whole different ball game. Shin guards, cleats, jersey, and shoes should be simple enough... But, well, there not. Samuels playing without his jersey AND his shin guards. (yes, it IS against rules to play without shin guards). I just realized his shin guards just now but we looked for his jersey for 30 minutes this morning.

Really how hard is it to loose a shirt when he just wore it last Saturday for his game? Oh my, we have some cleaning to do today.

Your special just the way you are

Kaylea is teaching us how Heavenly Father loves us no matter what we may look like or what special needs we may have.

Samuel is pretending to be blind while drawing a picture of himself.

We are truly blessed to have the gospel in our lives and know that we can overcome any trial through the love of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Friday night football

It was great seeing some of my high school friends at the homecoming game. I loved meeting their little "mini me's". It makes me laugh when I can pick out whose kid is whose!

Can't wait to have our "official" class reunion..,

Antique?

What is really considered an antique? I have received many items out of my Mamaw's house since we have moved back home... I will be posting them over the next few weeks.

Hope these aren't considered antique because that would mean that I'm antique? Right!?

There are sheers that my mother made for me when i was a baby and hung in my bedroom for years. After going through my childhood closet I came across them in a bag stuck way, way in the back, super hidden. I was going to use them in the girls room and put them around their headboard just like Fancy Nancy.

Well because they were smaller than I remembered... I decided to use them as curtains.

This was not exactly the way I wanted to use them... But this is what the girls came up with and, well, this is their room!

So, here they are.... My sheers transformed into my girls curtains!

Antique?
