What scott has been doing for the last month

In the morning, at work, while riding his trainer in the evening, and before bed, on his iPad, his phone, and at friends houses... Tour de France 2014.

Now waiting on the plane to board... Watching the start!
It has been exciting... But ready for it to be over!

Cab ride to airport.

Driving on the Brooklyn Bridge...
View of Matthaten from Brooklyn.
Goodbye New York... Until we see ya again!

Another day together

Up and at 'em for a run in Central Park...  My legs were tired from yesterday's events but managed to run about 6 miles.  We ended up running in a race with others in Central Park.  We just followed their race course and pretended we were participating... But didn't finish their 15 mile long distance race.
While walking back to hotel... We came across a few iconic spots.

Off to a NY Yankees game!!!  Watching Dereck Jeter hit a home run and enjoying the Yankee accents!
Luke's Lobster is a must stop if you visit to NYC. Delicious seafood!!!
An evening stroll along the Hudson and taking in one last picture of Lady Liberty!

Surprise anniversary trip

I knew scott was planning a trip but didn't know where...

Totally surprised that he planned a trip to NYC... Our second this year!

After our flight... We took the subway to our hotel...  Not knowing where we were staying, I was shocked when we walked up to the Ritz-Carlton.  The view from Our view from the room is amazing!
Then headed out for a run in Battery Park  along the Hudson River.  Stopped a few times to take some pictures of the new World Trade Center.  Couldn't get to see the memorial for all the construction going on around it.
Later we literally stopped in a deli and grabbed sandwiches while walking and walking and walking... To see... Phantom of the opera!!!

Great show... Then hit Times Square for some icecream...
The subway are pictures for the kids too see what all the fuss is about!  It's still so amazing to know the work and construction effort that has to happen for a subway to exist!
Then back to our hotel... Equipped with our very own telescope to view the Lady Liberty...
Scott you did good!   I love you and are so grateful to have you in my life... Can't wait to celebrate many more honeymoons together!

Seattle space needle and Wilson homestead!

Each morning scott and I ran the Seattle waterfront... From the piers, past the sculpture park, past the grain port, past the cruise ship docks, to the marina and then back.  Cool mornings and beautiful views make for an amazing start to the morning.

Eating lunch in the Seattle Space needle was a must!  The rotating resturant was amazing, the food was delicious, the views were spectacular!

We walked around outside after filling our tummies.  I was nervous with shaking hands but was able to get one picture!

On the way out of town we stopped at the Flagship REI store in downtown Seattle...  Scott and daniel were in heaven.

Arrived at the Wilson's with bells on!!!  So excited to see them after two years:). The kids were nonstop playing... I think they finally fell asleep around 12:30.

A relaxing afternoon.

Brunch after church at Aqua... All you can eat; King salmon, jumbo shrimp, oysters, clams, crepes, bacon, omlets, and desserts glaore... Couldn't ask for more:) Totally scrumptious!

Met Katy and Gigi at the internal water fountain.  While the music played the water danced along...  Kids loved it:). Katy and I loved our talks...

We then went to visit the Seattle LDS Temple.  Just beautiful.

Love being here on vacation with this crew!!!

Griepp day!

We were so excited to see our friends from Phoenix and spend the day with them!!!

The kids and I headed to the Seattle aquarium to play and see the beautiful sea life around here...

The Katy, Ben, and Gigi met us by the aquarium and took a ride on the Seattle Ferris wheel... It literally took my breath away!!!  It scared me to death... I was so ready to get off and my kids were laughing and trying to rock the cabin!   Scared I tell ya... But I made it!

Art work, jewelry, and handmade lotions/soaps lines the piers.

The kids begged us to take them to the gum wall.. Outside Pike Place Market.  Can I tell ya... Disgusting!   Smelly!!!   And seriously watch where you walk!

Trying to blow bubbles... And even scott got in on the action!  Such a great sport.

Walked around the crowded market and ate the most delicious crab cheese sandwich...

We ended our day at the Seattle Center having supper... The kids sat and played cards while Katy, David, Scott, and I sat and chatted...  Wonderful day in Seattle:).

Welcome to Seattle

Well, we are living it up here in Seattle.  We immediately started our tours of Seattle and around by eating at Red Robin, picking up forgotten items at Target, then heading downtown to our hotel.

We walked through Olympic Sculpture Park and stopped by the water front to dip our hands in the Peugot Sound.

Since it's July 11, 7 eleven, gives away free Slurpies to everyone!  Well it just happens to be located right across from the Space Needle!

The world famous Duck Tours was our next touristy stop...  Great time touring all around Seattle!

Great day... 85 degrees and not a cloud in the sky!!!!   Are we really in Seattle?
