On the way back to Memphis, I wanted to spend the night in total touristy towns called Pigeon Forge and
Gatlinburg Tennessee. I had gone there
several times as a child and wanted to take my children so they could just get a glimpse at what these towns are like. Of course they wanted to stop at every racetrack, roller coaster ride, chairlift, and the all famous
Dollywood. But this was just a drive though, spend the night, and head on out type of day. (I did promise them a real vacation there, a place you have to stay for at least 5 days!)
Meanwhile the day before I was heading back to Memphis, I get a text from MaryAnn saying that they were going to Pigeon Forge that weekend for their fall break. She said that we could stay with them if we wanted! Of course, I didn't hesitate... Another night with the Brias! For sure!
We all stayed in this amazing cabin and the kids once again played while MaryAnn and I talked all night... James, I hope we didn't bore you too much!
I think we are going to have to make this a regular vacation with the Bria's!
Thanks once again for a fabulous weekend!
