This is what my kids do to entertain themselves at the dr office. A few games of tic tac toe to take their minds off of getting their warts removed!

I always carry magic markers, crayons, and a sharpie. Ya never know when ya might need them!

Saturday morning craziness

I've got the whole school morning figured with how much time it will take to get everybody ready and out the door to catch the bus.

Well Saturday mornings are a whole different ball game. Shin guards, cleats, jersey, and shoes should be simple enough... But, well, there not. Samuels playing without his jersey AND his shin guards. (yes, it IS against rules to play without shin guards). I just realized his shin guards just now but we looked for his jersey for 30 minutes this morning.

Really how hard is it to loose a shirt when he just wore it last Saturday for his game? Oh my, we have some cleaning to do today.

It was great seeing some of my high school friends at the homecoming game. I loved meeting their little "mini me's". It makes me laugh when I can pick out whose kid is whose!

Antique?

What is really considered an antique? I have received many items out of my Mamaw's house since we have moved back home... I will be posting them over the next few weeks.

Hope these aren't considered antique because that would mean that I'm antique? Right!?

There are sheers that my mother made for me when i was a baby and hung in my bedroom for years. After going through my childhood closet I came across them in a bag stuck way, way in the back, super hidden. I was going to use them in the girls room and put them around their headboard just like Fancy Nancy.

Well because they were smaller than I remembered... I decided to use them as curtains.

This was not exactly the way I wanted to use them... But this is what the girls came up with and, well, this is their room!

So, here they are.... My sheers transformed into my girls curtains!

Quiet weekend

Scott had a meeting this weekend where I was able to tag along...

While he played golf, I enjoyed a pedi/mani and great reading time. I can never turn down a wrap around porch with a rocker on a quiet golf course!

Today, when Scott got home from work... Everyone was playing outside so Scott joined in the fun!

Our pen pals from Finland sent us this cool game which is a favorite of theirs. After a month sitting in the office waiting to be played, we finally pulled it out on this rainy afternoon.

My kids are loving it and already planning on playing it when they get home from school tomorrow!

I got the best treat... She sent me some delicious, amazing, melt in your mouth chocolate that reminded me of the Australia chocolate. You can't find it anywhere in the states!
