This was an amazing trip to spend some time with my girls... We swam, played, hung out with our friends, ran, and laughed a ton.
We ran into Elder Thurber's mom at Dessert Book Store... When I was talking to the brother checking us out at the register, telling him about our trip and discussing That we were from North Carolina, another lady spoke up and said that her son was serving in the Charlotte mission. Of course, we immediately knew her son! We have had him in our home many times for supper and my kids love him. We both felt the spirit so strong and we crying when I left. I pray one day that when my kids are on their missions, they will have great experiences that families will share with me!!!!
Because Brooke lives right by the temple... And drive by everyday... We had to stop to take a picture of this majestic place. Just walking onto the grounds you feel the spirit so strong and just want to stay and go inside to participate in the work that is going on. "I love to see the temple!"
Hanging out at our old stomping grounds... Moon Valley Park is such a treat for my girls. But it would be complete if they didn't have their BFF's there with us!!!! We love you Gigi, Jayden, and LaneyAllie!!!
The girls had to make a stop by our house... Claudia looked up at me and said, "mom, our house is so small!!!" Ummmm, you've grown Claudia! Same but so different;)
Another race down!!!! 4:01. If my stomach wouldn't have cramped, I would have ran under 4... I guess that means another race is in the plans!!!! Thanks Brooke for running the last 6 miles with me!!!! I love ya....
